Joseph Vasil is the proud Founder and Director of Vasil ID Training LLC, established in 2014. With a commitment to excellence, Joe delivers advanced, comprehensive document fraud training to law enforcement agencies, security organizations, financial institutions, and licensed beverage establishments. He retired in 2014 after 36 years of distinguished service with the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission Security-Investigation Unit, earning recognition as an internationally acclaimed expert in Document Fraud. In 2004, Joe successfully launched the Commission's inaugural Fraudulent Document Training Unit (FDTU) and was appointed to lead the NJ Attorney General-MVC Document Fraud Taskforce, demonstrating his leadership and expertise in the field. He holds the qualifications of a Certified Police Instructor and is a Court Certified Expert in both State and Federal jurisdictions.
Joe has conducted training for prominent organizations including the NYPD, FBI Joint Terrorism Taskforce, NJ & PA State Police, and numerous local law enforcement agencies across the United States.
In 2011, he crafted a detailed document training program for the TSA addressing the threat of high-quality counterfeit driver licenses in circulation.
